An Indonesian Tribe’s Language Gets an Alphabet: Korea’s

In Indonesia, children from the Cia-Cia tribe are preserving their native language by learning to write it in Hangul, the Korean alphabet. Traditionally passed down orally, Cia-Cia now has a script that aligns well with its sounds. This unique partnership not only helps safeguard the language but also celebrates cultural resilience and adaptability in a rapidly changing world.
