Baka

Baka is a member of the Central Sudanic branch of the Nilo-Saharan language family. It is spoken in South Sudan by about 26,000 people. The majority of Baka speakers live in and around the town of Maridi in the south of South Sudan. There are also a few thousand speakers of Baka in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
